Welcome to Hamblen County!!!The UT Hamblen County Agricultural Extension Service is a partnership between Hamblen County Government, The University of Tennessee and The United States Department of Agriculture to provide educational information to the citizens of Hamblen County. We offer educational programming in agriculture, family and consumer science, youth development and community resource development.
The Hamblen County Extension Service offers programs for farmers and homeowners including soil testing, weed, insect and disease indentification and control, forage testing, educational classes/workshops/seminars and pesticide certification.
For families and individuals we offer nutrition education, financial planning, co-parenting classes, and home management.
Extension's youth component offers 4-H programs to youth in 4th -12th grades. For the 4-H'ers we offer camping, school clubs, project groups and citizenship and leadership development.
