4-H Portfolios
A 4-H portfolio is a collection of an individual’s work that shows their knowledge, skills, goals, meaningful experiences and accomplishments. The portfolio is added to every year and keeps track of what you do within 4-H and outside of 4-H.
One goal is for youth to learn the importance of keeping accurate financial records, setting goals, and managing your time.
Another goal is to have one spot to keep all of the information that you will eventually need to apply for scholarships, college, jobs, etc. Youth who have done portfolios for multiple years always say they are invaluable tools when working on applications.
4-H Scholarships
There are scholarships available by project level through portfolios. Youth can receive a trip on scholarship and/or a scholarship based on project participation.
Tennessee 4-H has college scholarships from which 4-H members can select when they submit a college scholarship application. Applicants can select more than one scholarship.

We offer volunteer service hours that count for TN Promise and other scholarship needs.
